So excited.....first time I heard a queen piping! I was digging thru the frames looking for any sign of the newly hatched queen when I heard her. Immediately stopped and closed the hive back up.

The Coolest Ever Les!
I would like to know just what it means when the queen is piping?
-
Cool isn't it!
-
Jen, maybe it's a warning......If there other queen cells in the hive. "I'm coming for you" LOL

Is it the queen in the cell making the noise? Does anyone know why they do it ?
-
They can pipe in their cell or when they are out wandering around the frame.
