I'm curious to know, when does or did your nectar flow start this spring? Thanks.

Ours here in NC is about over if not already. We will still have things blooming but the main flow is about finished.

dandelions started popping up about two weeks ago, you now the weed type top thing going through the grass, about a week ago started popping out, we have had about 1 weeks rain, but now sunshine, so this bloom should be good.

dandelions here are the first major bloom.

I have never really grasped when the flow is on or off.  Honestly, my bees work furiously all season.  It's really hard to say in my opinion.

Ground cover and small plants here are now brown and dormant, but trees are still in bloom.
