Morning! Ha! The first swarm was luck but common luck for me apparently.  The second one was in my own bee yard.  I have 8-10 swarms a season there.  The queen always spits out and lands on my young pines.  When those pines grow taller it may be a different story.  I average 20-25 swarm calls a season and will pass up swarms that longer than my swimming pool pole with bucket length.  Have you seen my videos using a 5 gallon bucket to capture tree swarms?  It's cheap and easy to make. Here is one of them from 2016.

Thanks for the videos. Very interesting.

The swarming season hasn't started here yet. I suspect we are in for a lot of swarms. The phone will be red hot.

With the swarm from your own apiary, will you be doing anything to stop them absconding ?

Hi! I have only had a couple abscond.  Not too worried.

Another good video. I made myself 1 of those but have not had the occasion to use it yet.  Great job.

Thanks Miss River! I was hoping that could be fixed.  And, thanks for your kind words.  I am getting ready to post the 3rd swarm of the year in a few minutes.
