Am I on the right track?

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to reply. The bees have stop taking the sugar water and I've put the second brood box on top.

Other than my (probably too frequent) inspections I haven't had to do a whole lot other than refill the feeder and now I'm not even doing that!

I feel like the security guard on that cheesy credit commercial,

"I'm not a bee keeper, I'm a bee monitor"

Welcome SmokeyBee, these are good folks here and they walked this newbie through his first year well enough that I come here exclusively forum wise when in need of a quick well thought out answer and Lee said it well "It Depends" and I am in Arizona so always have to keep it in mind that a solution for a problem in Illinois is not sometimes my best path.
