  I might have just opened the barrel and shaken them into my yard... Provided I could get the top off the barrel withiut damaging it.
  they will gather about the queen so you can find her and pinch her, then they will start looking for a new home...
   At least your way you choose which hives get strengthened instead of the bees.

   With that many bees I might have fed the heck out of them and tried to winter them too... SO MANY options...
