The knowledge Apis brings to the forum is awesome. His willingness to share even more so. Add to that his accepting a mod duties is just icing on the cake.

For the record this is what happens when you tell Iddee how to do his job, Or how to do a part of the responsibility of a Admin or Mod with editing privileges. I am pretty sure it was not a full executive decision dew to the speed in which it came about.
Quote
CBT [25|May 01:03 PM]:   My pic is upside down in feeder styles. A little help please. THanks
iddee [25|May 01:16 PM]:   Riverbee has to do the pic. I don't know how.
apisbees [25|May 04:02 PM]:   I bet she downloads it rotates it and replaces the original by reposting it and correcting the link to the new picture.
apisbees [25|May 04:04 PM]:   easy if you have admin privleges to adjust other members posts
iddee [25|May 04:34 PM]:   Apis, if I did it right, you are now a moderator. Change the pic. :P :D
apisbees [25|May 08:01 PM]:   You did it right Picture is turned.
iddee [25|May 08:04 PM]:   Thank You
riverbee [25|May 08:57 PM]:   cbt, you using a smart phone? see this thread here.......http://www.worldwidebeekeeping.com/forum/index.php/topic,4530.msg60239.html#msg60239
riverbee [25|May 08:59 PM]:   also covers why they were upside down and yes i take the time to download a members photograph/s rotate it/all; modify the members post and re-upload the photograph in the correct orientation.
riverbee [25|May 09:00 PM]:   ;D and thanks apis
apisbees [25|May 09:06 PM]:   It took 5 minutes and 2 trys to get it right but figured it out.
I enjoy spending time and and helping out giving advice where needed. Even after being involved with bees, beekeeping, and honey judging and setting up the displays at the local fair, over the last 36 years I am still learning new things about bees and beekeeping from the members on this site. It also puts into perspective beekeeping in different areas and climates. Reading all the posts gives a much better explanation of what is happening in the different regions, than just getting a report of how the honey crop was and how many hives died.
I would like to thank all the "STAFF" for your trust and to all the members who, with out your presence and asking questions, posting observations, and coming back to keep up with the conversations that are taking place on a daily bases. this Forum would not be nearly as successful or as informative.  Apisbees. aka: Apis. aka: Keith

Yes, I did it on aspur of the moment deal. I had no problem doing it, as I have read every post Apis has made and felt fully confident that the staff would welcome him and thank me for doing it. He is definitely cream of the crop, and the only doubt I had was if he would accept it. I'm very thankful that he did.

Wait! HOW did I miss this???   WOOT!!   Excellent! Apis is a perfect choice!    I cant even count how many times I have read a post, and thought... How am I going to answer that...  working my way through the answer as I read the replies, and then come to Apis's reply...  I kind of skim it, as I continue formulating MY reply.... then blink, about three times and go back and re read what Apis said...  Yeah, THAT is what i was trying figure out how best to type!!!  Only, he says it better!!
    Well deserved!! Congrats Apis!
