Hi Apis, a lot of posts back, I asked the question on what to do with all of my surplus plugged pollen frames. I have about 20. I know I can save them for spring. But I could also be using some of them now.
You suggested to contaminate the pollen by spraying it with water, not to dripping, but to a good saturation of water, then place back in the hive to see if the bees will then clean out the pollen. IT WORKED!
The first two pics are of the plugged frames, the next two frames are of the unplugged frames. They
:D: have a bit more to go tho, and it took about 3 weeks to get them unplugged and usable again.
