I am feeding Pro Health Feeding Stimulant with the 1 to 1 sugar water.  Does anyone know how long it will keep in the heat?

I mix in a little bit of unscented bleach with my sugar water and it makes it last a long time and keeps the mold from growing in it.

I spoon of bleach per gallon.

I don't make more than a couple of gallons at a time. Plus, I don't keep it where it's too hot. Even when it does have a little mold on it, the bees don't seem to mind. With that being said, I've had sugar water keep for at least 3 to 4 weeks without anything growing in it.

I add a splash of lemon juice.  It lowers the pH gives it a lemony essence which the bees seem to like (and it's cheap).

Hiya 77 ~ are you feeding on the inside of the hive, like on the opening of an inner cover with a hive box around it? or in a boardman feeder that hangs on the outside of the hive?

Here when the temps get high say in the mid 90's to triple digits you have to be careful or the sugar syrup will ferment like leaving a glass of sweet tea on a counter top.
Pro Health or Honey Bee Healthy is suppose to keep down fermentation to some degree.
But be careful when putting out feed.
Spill a little and it can attract bees which can induce a robbing situation.

I am feeding quart jars inside the hive thru the inner cover and have a deep surrounding them.  The temps are in the mid 80's and I am keeping the excess inside the house at about 74.  The quart jars are emptied in about three days

if they are consuming the quart jar in 3 days. The bees are consuming it faster than it is going bad. if it becomes to fermented the bees will ignore it.
